Will zinc plated steel resist rust just as good as hot dip galvinizing? - zinc plating visual
I am replacing some equipment on my boat trailer. I have a good size but are galvanized Peices. Zinc coated hardware to resist corrosion of the same hardware, galvanized by hot dipping. The trailer is in salt water.
Thanks

Both are for the salt water is good, hot dip galvanized, a bit better, because it is a little thicker, but I'm not afraid to use one of them.

They are ok, but you want to wash or hose to the end of his followers. If you really want to be OCD about this, screw on some wells and drag and drop a yard short light chain contact with the ground. Kind of exaggeration, but that all depends on how much and how old / maintained trailer.
